  • Re: First baby on the way!

Its amazing how fast they grow! She is now just over 9 months old and she looks totally different compared to when she was a month old. (Both ages beautiful) but different hair color, skin tone, and features.

  • Anyone follow Rivals.com?

They are the dominant website for following top Div 1 high school prospects. It is amazing how much coverage some of these elite high school athletes get these days.

  • Treats that stain carpet?

Has anyone had issues with flavored rawhides that end up staining upholstry or lighter colored carpets when giving them to their dogs? I usually buy the basic rawhides for my dogs, in part, to keep the furniture clean.

  • Pet Expo is coming...

The big Chicagoland Pet Expo will be in Arlington Heights next weekend from Fri-Sun. I'm excited to check this out for the first time, as I have heard that there is a bit of everything there...with its fair share of 'crazy' pet owners too...lol!

  • NCAA Tourney

Is there any argument that we are about to begin the most entertaining 3 or so weeks in sports? As the NCAA conference tournaments are currently going on (and btw, how about that 6 OT game last night with UConn and 'Cuse) and selection Sunday is right around the corner, the NCAA tournament brings together what sports is all about. Can the favorites

  • Re: Call of Duty World At War

COD4 is simply an awesome game. I have COD5 and I do like it (even though I have not played it in about 6 weeks), but there is something about COD4 and modern day that is a nice change of pace. The WWII games seems to be running out of new concepts to play.

  • Is tanning a permanent trend?

Although they seem to be evolving, tanning beds are be no means a new technology, but are they a permanent fixture in society for people who want that 'healthy' tanned look? I have become a believer in them over this past year. Prior to April of 2008, I had never used a tannng bed before, but had bashed them regardless. I decided to give them

  • Gran Torino= plesant surprise

I have not really been a fan of Clint Eastwood in the past (it's more accurate to say that I have not seen many of his films, therefore more of a newbie interest in him). I saw Gran Torino about 2 weeks ago whithout seeing any previews beforehand. I was moved by the simplicity of this movie and the sad truths that are out there in this world. I

  • Re: chihuahua attitude problem

Hi Diana, I wish I had an answer for you. Its quite interesting to see how different breeds (and different dogs withing that breed for that matter) have that inborn protection instinct. It seems that most dogs have it, but the degree that they have it varies a bunch. I will be checking back to this post to see if people have a suggestion for you.
