"Once you define me, you negate me" ... that's why you cannot sum me up in a few words. However, I will get you started with the gist of me.

 "A lift of joy in the times of trouble The touch of innocence in a jaded era The word of wit when we’re weighted down the lift of humor when we’re heavyhearted The ray of hope to blow away our black clouds." I took one of those online quizzes and that was the description it gave me about myself. 

I am an eternal optimist who always believes in love. 

Although I have been through my share of hard hearted times. Although I have shed many tears over a lost love or bad date. Although my first marriage did not last more than two years and I have been left for more reasons than I can count. I love to love and I refuse to let a few broken hearts get me down. After all, if my heart was not breakable, I wouldn't be lovable. No matter how dark it gets, I accept it and live it, learn from it,  and I always have something ahead. I vent through dark poetry and even more vicious dark prose. One of my most recognized lines was in a poem title 'Mas-o-chism' "Perfection knows no loyalty". That line carries a great deal of meaning to the reader. 

I have a 6 year old long haired white chihuahua that I adore. He is the only thing that has remained constant in my life for the past six years. I have moved three states since I picked up this little guy. He is fat and happy now and loved by every one of my guests. 

A little on what I do. I am currently unemployed. I was working for The Home Depot renting industrial strength tools to contractors eight hours a day. Needless to say, to an artist, it is not a dream job. So I can say I am "Fun Employed" and loving it. I write and take pictures of the city which I love. I sleep in and stay up till dawn. I spend the evening chatting with endless amounts of strangers that I meet online. Some conversations are really fulfilling and I always learn something new from my new temp friends. 

I am not religious, but I am spiritual. I love to read and study Zen philosophy along with other ideas such as 'The Law of Attraction' and 'The Four Agreements'. One of my favorite books is 'Little Women' and 'The Tao of Pooh'. I sleep next to a dream book and can't wait to see what my subconscious has been trying to tell me all night long. 

I can not wait till yoga training beings in October. I love to meditate and I can't imagine life without it. I find it easy to get excited about something and just as easy to be bored by it. My friend tells me that it's the gemini in me. I bike around the city and love to walk all over town. My favorite hours to do it are when the city sleeps. It's quite and calm and becomes my playground. After a tough ride or a busy day of errands I ride towards the lake and once I see that beautiful blue jewel I feel as though a weight has been lifted. Natural beauty is the best beauty.
