I'd like to welcome all new members to PawPlace.com. I hope that this site will be a welcome addition to your daily routine on the net!
Well, a little about myself..I'm originally from the east coast (western Massachusetts) and graduated Lee High School in 1995. After high school, I went to Florida State University ('95-'99) and got my degree in Nutrition and Fitness. I started chiropractic school in Lombard, IL at what is now known as the National Univeristy of Health Science, where I earned a second Bachelor's degree in Human Biology and my Docorate of Chiropractic. After graduation, I worked as an associate for a year in the western burbs of Chicago and in June of '04 it all paid off...I was able to start my own practice with a buddy of mine. It is great being your own boss! Over the past 4 years, I have been able to purchase my first house, first nice car, my first two pets, and help out my parents who have helped me all of their lives (even though they were not blessed with money). It is now just under a year that the idea for PawPlace.com was born...and here we are, trying to make a dream become reality. I would like to thank the special people in my life over these past few years (you know who you are) that have made me laugh, cry, and embrace those special moments in life that make it all worth while. You have made me a better person through your love and I hope that I have enhanced your life as much as you have mine.
I'd like to wish everyone on here the best. Life definitely takes some sharp turns and it is impossible to plan for these instances, however, if we take some time out of the day to stop and be thankful for what we have (our family, friends, health) it makes things a whole lot easier. I hope that PawPlace.com can bring you some joy of community and a place to kick back and have fun.
Is seems like just a few years ago that we were on the brink of the year 2000 and now we are only one year away from being through with this decade. Time does fly!
I am happy to announce that PawPlace.com has been officially launched as of Monday, October 13th, 2008. We are going to be making some tweaks over the next fews weeks and beyond to serve your social networking needs. Enjoy the ride!
