    Any "Crafty" People Out There?

My current favorite is jewelry making.  I love the sparkle of Swarovski crystals!  I've probably tried just about every craft, with my other two favs being crocheting and counted cross stitch.  My problem is that I tend to get bored with a project and never get around to finishing it.  (Is is wrong that I've been working on a crocheted afghan for my sister for over 8 years?  Wink  )  Anybody else have the same problem?

I understand exactly what you mean. I start projects all the time and never finish them! I've started several counted cross-stiches and i just end up throwing them away because i decide to do a new one. Currently I am into knitting. I just learned how over the summer and so I constantly knit but I know soon enough I will get bored and then the yarn will just sit in my room for a year or two!

You know I've never participated in any of those crafts but I did take on Scrapbooking to try to keep up with my sons life.  He is four now and I have barely gotten past the first year!  I have bought TONS of stuff!!  I have ALL of the supplies.  But I tend to think it's more fun to buy the stuff than to actually work on the craft!  That's terrible I know, but I think many people are like this.  So you're not alone!

I scrapbook but I never have a solid thought. Its just a bunch of nonsense. I have 3 or 4 different scrapbooks that I have started but i have NEVER finished one.

I almost got hooked on scrapbooking.  I got invited to a scrapbooking "party" and of course felt obligated to buy stuff.  I say "almost hooked" because I did end up spending way, way, way too much money on supplies before I realized that I didn't have the time nor the creativity to put one together.  I'm very creative, but even I was stumped on ideas for a full scrapbook.  I did make Christmas cards one year before packing all of the stuff away.

Does coloring in a coloring book count as craft?
