I have not really been a fan of Clint Eastwood in the past (it's more accurate to say that I have not seen many of his films, therefore more of a newbie interest in him). I saw Gran Torino about 2 weeks ago whithout seeing any previews beforehand. I was moved by the simplicity of this movie and the sad truths that are out there in this world. I think that this is a film for all to see. People need to look past the derogatory language (although it is in there to provide realism) and the frequent, though unexpected comedy in the film is an added bonus. Do I have any people who agree?
