PawPlace.com offers numerous areas where Members can interact, including but not limited to PawPrint, PuppyLove, City Guide, Pet Store, 4-UMs, Slick Pic, Blogs email and Instant Messenger areas. Prior to any participation, it is required for a user to become a member of PawPlace.com.
PLEASE READ THESE Subscription Policies AS THEY CONTAIN IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING YOUR LEGAL Obligations, RIGHTS, REMEDIES AND OBLIGATIONS regarding your membership and/or subscription and any orders or purchases made through PawPlace.com.
Certain products and services may from time to time be made available to you ("you" or "User") by PawPlace LLC or affiliates (collectively, "us", "we" or "PawPlace") through the PawPlace.com web site network, services, applications, features, subscriptions and membership offered and/or available through PawPlace.com and its affiliates (collectively, "PawPlace.com" or the "Service"). By purchasing any products or services through PawPlace.com, you signify that you have read, understand and agree to be bound by these Subscription Policies in effect at the time of purchase ("Subscription Policies" or "Agreement"). Your purchases and your use of PawPlace.com are also governed by the PawPlace.com Terms of Use ("Terms"), which are incorporated herein by reference.
These Subscription Policies are subject to change without prior written notice at any time, in PawPlace's sole discretion, and such changes shall apply to any purchases made after such changes are posted to PawPlace.com. Therefore, you should review these Subscription Policies prior to each purchase so you will understand the terms applicable to such transaction. If you do not agree to these Subscription Policies or the terms and conditions to use of PawPlace.com as found under the Terms, do not make any purchases through, register your membership or subscribe to PawPlace.com.
Membership. Subscription. Pricing.
You may become a Member of PawPlace.com at no cost. As a Member, you will have the ability to participate in some, but not all, of the features and services available within PawPlace.com. In order to access additional features and services, including access to Slick Pic at PawPlace.com, you must become a paying subscriber to the Service. Our price list for access to the Slick Pic section is incorporated herein by this reference, and we reserve the right at any time to change any fees or charges for using the Service. The current price for unlimited monthly access to the Slick Pic section is $3.99/month, with the auto-renewal feature (as described below).
You may terminate your membership and/or subscription at any time, for any reason, by clicking ‘Unsubscribe Slick Pic' in the ‘Account Settings' tab in the ‘Edit' portion of your profile. If you terminate your subscription, your subscription will be rendered inactive, effective immediately. There are no refunds for any unused portion of your subscription.
Charges on Your Billing Account
PawPlace.com bills you through an online account for use in the Slick Pic photo customization portion of PawPlace.com. You agree to pay PawPlace.com all charges at the prices then in effect for any use of the Service, and you authorize PawPlace.com to charge your chosen payment provider for the Service. Subscription plans will operate using recurring billing, consisting of an initial period, for which there is a one time charge, followed by recurring period charges. By using Slick Pic at PawPlace.com or ordering any other Service through PawPlace.com, you acknowledge and agree that your subscription has an auto-renewal feature and you accept responsibility for all recurring charges prior to any cancellation of your subscription (or of the auto-renewal feature pursuant to the terms above). You further acknowledge and agree that once payment of the Service is processed, any termination of Service before the expiration date of your current membership will not be credited back to your credit card.
If PawPlace.com terminates your membership and/subscription in a Service because you have breached or violated any of the terms and conditions contained in this Agreement or those in the Terms, you will not be entitled to any refund of unused subscription fees.
YOU MUST PROVIDE CURRENT, COMPLETE, AND ACCURATE INFORMATION FOR YOUR BILLING ACCOUNT. YOU MUST PROMPTLY UPDATE ALL INFORMATION TO KEEP YOUR BILLING ACCOUNT CURRENT (i.e. change in billing address, credit card number, or credit card expiration date). YOU MUST PROMPTLY NOTIFY PAWPLACE.COM IF YOU SUSPECT A POTENTIAL BREECH OF CREDIT SECURITY, OR UNAUTHORIZED USE OR DISCLOSURE OF YOUR USERNAME OR PASSWORD, WHICH CAN BE COMPLETED IN THE ACCOUNT SETTINGS PAGE. YOU AGREE THAT PAWPLACE.COM CAN CONTINUE TO CHARGE YOU FOR USE OF THE SUBSCRIPTION BASED SERVICES AT THE CHOSEN FEE RATES UNLESS YOU HAVE TERMINATED YOUR SUBSCRIPTION FROM THE SERVICE.
Auto-renewal. Your Slick Pic at PawPlace.com subscription will be automatically extended for successive renewal periods of the same duration as the subscription term originally selected, at the then-current non-promotional subscription rate. When your subscription is automatically renewed the subscription charges will be billed to the credit card on file for your account. This feature ensures your subscription is not interrupted, leaving you without access to the Slick Pic section. If you desire to cancel the auto-renewal feature, you will need to contact PawPlace.com's customer service and provide written notice of your desire to cancel the auto-renewal feature and make arrangements with PawPlace.com for payment to keep your subscription active on a monthly basis. To change or resign from your subscription at any time, go to Account Settings and click on ‘Unsubscribe from Slick Pic.' Following resignation, your subscription will not be renewed, and your access to the Slick Pic section will be terminated, effective immediately. However, you will not be eligible for a prorated refund of any portion of the subscription fee paid for the then-current subscription period.
Reaffirmation of Auto-renewal Authorization. Your non-termination or continued use of the subscription based Service reaffirms that PawPlace.com is authorized to charge the subscription fees on your selected payment method. PawPlace.com will submit these charges for payment and you are responsible for such charges. You understand that any free trial or other promotion that provides access to paid subscription areas of the Service must be used within the specified time of the trial. You must cancel your subscription before the end of the trial period to avoid being charged the subscription fee.
